ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> AI. Mayor La Berge congratulated Councilmembers Buchan, Greenalch and Murray <br /> who represented the Council at the fourth annual Trivia Bee, Friday, <br /> September 26th at Canada College and made it to the final round of five <br /> out of over thirty teams. <br /> A2. Redwood City Downtown Association Board of Directors President Marilee <br /> Saier will address the Council and introduce the new Board Members. <br /> (1402-04) <br /> The following people addressed the Council: <br /> Marilee Saier, President of the Redwood City Downtown Association, <br /> described the gala fund raiser planned for October 23, 1992 at the Fox <br /> Theatre with dining, dancing, games and an auction. <br /> Frank Bizarro, member of the Association, merchant on Main Street, <br /> described his experience with managing and promoting auctions. <br /> John Hollister, Treasurer, described success of the Sunflower Festival, <br /> and the unanimous vote of the Board to support an annual festival. <br /> William Conklin, Secretary, merchant on Broadway, stated the process was <br /> working and there was more participation in the Association than ever. <br /> Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> September 28, 1992 <br /> Page 1 <br /> MINUTE BOOK NO. 51 <br /> Page No. 204 <br />
