After the execution of the contract, the City, at its sole discretion, may add or delete other streets or portions of streets to existing routes at the agreed contract rate. b. Basic Street Sweenin¢ - This is the minimum level of street sweeping the Contractor must provide at all times. Contractor will sweep all residential street sweeping routes in the City once a month, following the City's established routes and schedule. For 5 -week months when all regularly scheduled sweeping is completed in 4 weeks, City staff will alert Contractor with routes to sweep during the remaining week. This work is a part of basic street sweeping and will not be considered an unscheduled or emergency service. c. Leaf Season Sweeping - Upon City's written request, Contractor will increase residential street sweeping frequency to once a week sweeping for all residential routes during the leaf season. Sweeping will follow the City's established sweeping schedule and will not conflict with solid waste collection days. d. Enhanced Street Sweening - Upon City's written request, Contractor will enhance street sweeping services to twice a month sweeping of all residential street sweeping routes in the City and sweeping of all commercial street sweeping routes in the City. Street sweeping for residential and commercial routes will follow the City's established routes and schedule. Days and Hours of Oneration - Scheduled sweeping service shall be Tuesday through Friday of every week, excluding City holidays. Sweeping of residential neighborhood routes shall begin no earlier than 7:30 am and end no later than 2:00 pm. San Carlos, CA • Stulsaft Park Dump Site, at the end of Recreation Way (only as directed during leaf collection season) g. Citv Holidays - There shall be no sweeping on City observed holidays. City will provide Contractor the yearly holiday schedule as available. h. Emereencv Service - Contractor shall also respond to emergency calls for service at any and all times day or night every day during the term of this contract within two (2) hours of being notified to provide such service.
