<br /> In response to Councilwoman Gasparini's questions, Councilman Claire <br /> stated that three Councilmembers who had previously attended rent <br /> negotiations advised it was not a good idea for a Councilmember to sit in <br /> the negotiations, but to leave it to the park owners and residents to reach: <br /> mutually acceptable agreements without Council participation. <br /> Don Peters, Redwood Mobile Estates, asked if the owner of his Mobile Home <br /> Park would agree to the renegotiations. <br /> Mayor Buchan asked Mr. Deffebach to respond to this question. <br /> Mr. Deffebach advised that the manager of Redwood Mobile Estates owned by <br /> Mr. Gasivoda, stated she was willing to go along with the renegotiation <br /> plan. Mr. Deffebach stated he represented the mobile home park industry <br /> and would offer his good offices to encourage all owners to begin <br /> negotiations.
