ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br /> A. Joe Steinfeld, Main Street, Downtown Association, suggested to the <br /> Council that a promotion and business improvement seminar be held, like <br /> the Charette of December 5, 1992, with City staff and the Downtown <br /> Association sponsorship to solicit input and advice from the public <br /> regarding the promotion and marketing of the downtown. <br /> Mayor Buchan referred this matter to City Manager Everett. <br /> MEMO 2/2/93 <br /> ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> lA. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br /> A. Councilwoman Steinfeld reported on the League of California Cities <br /> seminar for new Councilmembers that she and Councilmembers Gasparini <br /> and Sanfilipo attended last week, and advised that the seminar focused <br /> on the budget situation in California cities and how to do more with <br /> 1 ess.
