<br /> Nita Spangler, Edgewood Road, provided a history of City Hall and advised <br /> it was time for a new City Hall with its own Council Chambers. <br /> Art Balsamo, Highland, Redwood City, also spoke to the issue of the City <br /> Hall. <br /> Joe Steinfeld, Main Street, Redwood City, asked Council how the proposed <br /> buildings would be paid for and how the City intended to pay the current $42 <br /> million bonded indebtedness. <br /> Finance Director Ramchandani described the use of utilities fees to pay <br /> the bonded indebtedness, and advised that the City has sufficient funds to <br /> pay for the proposed building improvements without any additional bonded <br /> indebtedness. <br /> Councilmembers discussed the proposed building improvements; the current <br /> one time monies available at this particular moment; and the existence of <br /> other projects in the City that might also be considered. <br /> Mayor Buchan appointed Councilmembers Gasparini and La Berge and herself <br /> to the Facilities Committee to study the report in detail and report back to <br /> the Council. <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 93-036 <br /> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> 9.
