(101-02) REPORT: City Clerk) May 10, 1993 1) City Clerk Jorgenson presented the staff report and introduced Park and Recreation Supervisor Jones who described the two systems already tried by the Council and the set-up for the June 1, 1993 Council meeting) and recommended a wireless microphone system for portability, ease of operation and safety. Councilman Sanfilipo advised Council that the recommended amount of $8,000 was way too high and a wireless system was not necessary. In response to Council questions, City Clerk Jorgenson advised that the County did not charge the City for the use of the Board of Supervisors Chambers for meetings, and that the appropriation transfer request was for the transfer of funds not for authorization to purchase a system.
