EXHIBIT A <br /> SHINNYO-EN FOUNDATION GRANT <br /> TO <br /> REDWOOD CITY 2020 <br /> FOR <br /> "Stanford Public Interest Network (SPIN) Shinnyo Felloiv" <br /> Grant Goal(s)*: <br /> Goals and Objectives: <br /> The SPIN Shinnyo Fellow will support the RWC 2020's Redwood City Together welcoming <br /> initiative, the family engagement and community mobilization teams, and the Community Schools <br /> Expansion and Sustainability Workshop. <br /> In addition to supporting initiatives at RWC 2020, the Shinnyo Fellow will spend about 30% of <br /> his/her time (2 days per week) at the Gardner Center at Stanford University, providing <br /> administrative, research, and communications support. Based on the Fellow's interest, knowledge, <br /> expertise, and skills, he/she will be assigned to at least one active research project and work with a <br /> multi-disciplinary staff (e.g., senior researchers, policy analysts). <br /> The Fellow's role and responsibilities include: <br /> ■ Co-lead, with staff support, the Redwood City Together welcoming initiative, including <br /> organization and facilitation of diverse dialogues, <br /> • Program support for RWC 2020's Family Engagement initiative, <br /> • Program support for Community Schools Expansion and Sustainability Workgroup, <br /> ■ Provide research and administrative support to Gardner Center research and evaluation <br /> projects, <br /> • Link Gardner Center and Haas Center efforts to build capacity for Stanford service <br /> learning opportunities in Redwood City, <br /> • Serve as the point contact for Shinnyo-en USA Head Temple and Shinnyo-en Foundation. <br /> *Any changes or adjustments to goals and objectives require prior approval by Shinnyo-en <br /> Foundation.
