M. from the city limits on <br />the north or the Fox Shoppe to a designated place on the southerly portion of the City. Police Chief <br />Faulstich stated that this could not be improved much, however, they would give the matter consideration. <br />Councilman Granger seconded the motion which carried. ...r <br />Councilman Granger called to the attention of the proper authorities to take whatever steps that are <br />necessary that there be no right hand turns into the Lenolt Tract from Industrial Way. Winter, Park and Recreation Commissioner Gerry Verson, <br />Assistant Water Superintendent Warren Mitchell and Account—Clerk Vivian Holmouist. <br />The Minutes of June 18th and June 25th were ordered approved as mailed on motion of Councilman Spillers, <br />seconded by Councilman Granger. Councilman Weiss stated that he had a few corrections he would like <br />to make. June 18th minutes, page 1, last sentence should read: It is the recommendation of the City <br />Engineer, concurred in by the City Manager, that the low bid of Bauman Brothers be accepted, and that all <br />"other" bids be rejected. This was followed by discussion after which City Clerk was directed to make the <br />change. June 25th minutes, page 2, first paragraph after the words July lst the following words should <br />be added: "and similarly consider the department Head salaries. This was followed by discussion and the <br />correction was allowed to stand. Councilman Weiss questioned the legal-i_ty of the last sentence in this %WOO <br />same paragraph wherin they refer to making the salaries retroactive. The City Attorney stated that as <br />long as this subject came up hew anted the records to indicate that making salaries retroactive is not <br />legal, however, it has been the practice in the last nine years to do so and it is the most practical <br />o � <br />method.
