Councilman Spillers moved that the City Clerk or the City Attorney contact the applicant and ask them to consider changing the title of their used bar lot., seconded by Councilman 17eics and carried* Councilman Stout moved that they reactivate the proceedings of the previous action with Russ Denny in regard to the condition of the sidewalks., seconded by Councilman7Teiss. Councilman Spillers stated that two years ago this sidewalk matter was brought to the attention of the Council and the Council took the stand at that time that the sidewalk would be fixed when the street work was done. Councilman Stout moved approval of the Planning Commission's recommendation., seconded by Councilman Spillers. Councilman Granger stated that he was not in favor of moving in any tin shacks into the City. This was followed by Discussion. Councilman Britschgi st-ited that he was familiar with the building and he stated that it is approximately 3 years old and in very good condition. City Engineer Jain stated that this should be subject to conditions. The Clerk read a section from the Planning Commission minutes wherein they approved this subject to: 1. Compliance with Building Department's requirements* 2* Owner to complete all necessary curbp gutter and sidewalk improvements on Jefferson Avenue and Bayshore Highway* 30 complete - To complee all necessary State Highway Department's requirements for improvements on Bayshore Highway. 4, Owner to construct sewer, water and other utility facilities. 5* The ultimate improvement and realigning of Redwood Creek Channel* Councilman Herkner offered a substitute motion that this be delayed one week., pictures of the building to be brought in$ seconded by Councilmn Granger. The substitute notion lost on roll call vote with GouncilTren Britschgi., Spillers., Stout and 1,11ayor Royer voting 110. The original motion carried on roll call wi-t h Councilman Granger voting NO.
