Mayor Granger asked the Clerk to carry the item of Wm. F. Graham regarding water service for Lots 8 and 9s Block 601, Highlands of Emerald Lake on the agenda for one week. LETTER FROM PARK AND RECREATION C OIvIl1dISSION REGARDING LESING CITY PROPERTY ADJACENT TO HAWES PARK SCHOOL TO THE REDWOOD CITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT. At the present time this area is useless to the City and if the School District leasew this land they will pave the area and make it useable to the City Recreation Department during its after school recreation program. This was followed by discussion after which Councilman Spillers moved to refer this to the City Attorney f or a proper agreement, description for the City Engineer, 10 year time limit, seconded by Councilman Stout and carried. He was of the opinion, that where streets are put in by the F 0 County and are contingent to the City, that the Council should be given authorization to state the size of the streets that are put into the subdivisions.
