Councilman Stout moved that the letter be riled, seconded by Councilman <br />Spillers and carried. <br />USE PERMITS GRANTED BY THE PLANNING CGMMTSSION: <br />1. Granted permit to C. De Sharp for five -residence units on Canyon Road subject to deed for street <br />widening. <br />2. Granted permit to J. E. COATS APPLICATION TO REZONE PORTION OF LOT 21, <br />VALOTA PARK (1204 Woodside Road) FROM R-3 TO C -1-H. Affidavit of mailing was ordered filed. There <br />were no written protests. Francis Britschgi, representing Mr* Coats, spoke at great length in regard <br />to extending Woodside service road to Valota Road. Mr* Britschgi stated that his clients would be <br />willing to give the property for the service road and eventurally pay for their share of the road <br />work. This was followed by general discussion regarding rezoning to Commercial and commercial zones <br />backing up to residential property. <br />Mr. Gerald Wagstaff, attorney for the Fayal family who are property owners immediately adjacent to the <br />Shopping Center, spoke in regard to the public hearing on Initiative of Planning Commission to set plan <br />
