FRONTING ON WOODSIDE ROAD. There were no written protests. The following people objected to the rezoning:
Harvey Laird, 1515 Hudson Street, John Vickfors, 1499 Hudson Street, Mr. Lewon, 1557 Ebener Street and
Councilman Weiss read a prepared statement wherein he stated that one of the important facts that they
must weigh in connection with the land use plan is whether or not the providing of 491 acres of R-3, R-3-G
and R-4 is not excessive, since our consultant has indicated the ideal as 160 acres for a city of 80,000
population. It was his belief and thinking that to take action at this time on this proposal would be
premature and he moved that this public hearing be continued until June 17th by which time it is highly
possible that action on the land use plan should have been completed, seconded by Councilman Stout and
carried.
