The affidavit of publication was ordered filed. The <br /> Clerk read the letter from the Planning ,Commission dated February 13, 1957. Richard <br /> Wirthheimer, attorney for Dr. Mayer, was present and stated that he would speak on the <br /> question. The Clerk read the title of the resolution setting the plan lines. The <br /> City Attorney stated that there was an error in the publication of the original <br /> resolution and public hearing and this was a rehearing on the same resolution. Council- ' <br /> man Weymouth moved that the public hearing be closed, seconded by Councilman Spillers <br /> 7 <br /> t.....; and carried. <br /> Councilman Spillers offered RESOLUTION 2272 ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL PLAN LINES ON i <br /> JEFFERSON AVENUE BETWEEN EL CAMINO REAL AND MIDDLEFIELD ROAD and moved its adoption, <br /> seconded by Councilman Granger. Councilman Weiss stated that he voted against this <br /> last time because the State had this street classified as a major city street which <br /> required eighty-four feet. However, since that time he can see the justification for <br /> the reduction as requested by the property owners and will go along with the eighty- <br /> one foot street. The motion carried on roll call. <br /> Planning Commissioner Rambo stated that there officially wasn' t any plan lines on <br /> Jefferson Avenue between El Camino Real and Middlefield Road until this resolution <br /> was adopted tonight. For that reason they had not been able to grant a variance to <br />
