279 discussion. Reverend J. Seidel Peterson stated that the majority of the people in this location are objecting to the dancing and he was speaking for over 300 people. His group do not believe that this type of recreation was going to be in the best interest of the people. This was followed by considerable dis- cussion after which Reverend Peterson agreed to go along with the Council and let Mr. Huddleton have the permit on a trial basis. Reverend Peterson stated that they would rather have the dancing on Saturday than [:: on Sunday. Mr. Huddleton spoke on behalf of his project ans stated that he understood what he was expected to do and understands the conditions of the permit. Reverend Davis spoke against the dance permit and stated that he did not believe that minors should be allowed to enter the building and take part in the dancing. Councilman Weiss asked the maker of the motion to include in the motion that no minors be allowed. Councilman Spillers stated that he did agree to tot allow the minors and but that they should be allowed (:: if they are escorted by their parents. This was inluded in the motion which carried.
