Board of Supervisors and see if they could follow this same procedure and widen Middlefield Road from <br /> Santa Clara county limits to Redwood City city limits. The City Manager was asked to check with the City <br /> of Palo Alto to ,find out the procedure they followed to secure funds. <br /> Councilman Granger referred to the train stopping and blocking the Middlefield Road crossing at Dumbarton <br /> cut—off for at least twenty minutes. He contacted a man from the Southern Pacific Company and that man <br /> will try to take care of the matter. <br /> Councilman Granger was of the opinion that when the City has a sufficient funds they should look into the <br /> possibility to taking over the Friendly Acres Water Service. He suggested that the City Manager check <br /> into this matter before budget time. <br /> Councilman Spillers moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Councilman Herkner -and carried. Councilman Herkner asked that the minutes of February lath, page 3, last paragraph <br /> be spelled out in full. The rate would be $7.00 inside the City Limits plus 2/3 of $7.00 for the outside <br /> rate. This correction was noted and the motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING, PROPOSED ANNEXATION, FARM HILL ADDITION NO. 1. The Mayor announced that the applicant asked <br /> that this matter be held up two weeks. Councilman Weiss asked how the annexation fees would be handled. <br /> The City Attorney stated that he did not believe that the Council would approve the annexation until they <br /> collected the 75.00. The affidavit of publication was ordered filed. Councilman Spillers moved to hold <br /> this matter over for two weeks, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried. <br /> ANTON MAYER, 1533 UNION AVENUE, REGARDING RESUBDIVISION PORTION LOT 3, BLOCK G, WOODSIDE ACRES NO. 1. The City <br /> Clerk stated that this matter was one year old. The City Attorney recommended that this matter be referred <br /> back to the Subdivision Committee of the Planning Commission. Councilman Stout moved to refer this back to <br /> the Subdivision Committee together with the new informaton concerning deed for 27' now -available, seconded <br /> by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br /> COUNCILMAN STOUT, FURTHER REPORT ON ANNEXATION FEES. Councilman Stout stated that he brought this matter before <br /> the Council at a previous meeting and asked that he be allowed to check further into this matter and meet <br /> with the 6ity Manager. He met with Mr. Rolison and after this meeting he wanted to recommend against any <br /> particular change in the annexation fees. He referred to the previous report made in regard to raising the <br /> building permit fees. He thought possibly the might change the resolution to an ordinance, however, before <br />
