45 4 <br /> Also I call attention to Mr. Curtaz's recent letter again calling for a resonse on the <br /> question of the water department funds and indebtedness. Mr. Curtaz has also called me over <br /> the week end and stated that he has just been given a copy of the City Manager's letter of <br /> March 22, addressed to the Council. He does not consider that an adequate reply and further <br /> indicated his feeling that any reply made should be a public statement for the benefit of all <br /> the people. <br /> I also have a letter from the city manager to the council on the same subject, dated <br /> April 4, I have made arrangements to discuss the subject with the City Manager to clarify certain <br /> points before discussing the matter in open meeting. Last but not least is the question of <br /> Rail.
