Howe, City Clerk of the City of Redwood City, do hereby certify that: <br /> 1. On Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at 3:30 p.m., Matthew Leddy timely submitted <br /> to this office a petition entitled: "Referendum Against an Ordinance <br /> Passed by the City Council — Ordinance No. 1130-332:" <br /> 2. In accordance with California Elections Code section 9237, it has been <br /> determined that the County Elections' last official report of registered <br /> voters reported to the Secretary of State was 32,088 and that 10% of said <br /> registration would require not less than 3,209 valid signatures to qualify; <br /> and <br /> 3. In accordance with California Elections Code sections 9210 and 9239, I <br /> examined and accepted the petition as filed. <br /> 4. In accordance with California Elections Code sections 9240, I have <br /> examined, or caused to be examined, the petition of which 3,633 <br /> signatures were considered valid, resulting in at least 3,209 valid <br /> signatures; <br /> 5. Based on this examination and in accordance with Elections Code <br /> sections 9240 and 9114, it has been determined that the petition is hereby <br /> acknowledged as sufficient and certified this 3rd day of August 2004. <br /> E,�� s � s <br /> . <br /> Patricia S.
