5. POLICE DEPARTMENT PRESENTATION:
Postponed to February 14, 1994 by earlier action.
6. COUNCIL COMMENTS
Councilman Greenalch advised that the problems in the southeastern part of
Redwood City were more involved than just gunfire, and he had wanted to make a
motion to hold a meeting in the area to hear more concerns from the residents.
Councilman Greenalch stated that because of the intense feelings and possible
polarization surrounding this Gunfire Location System issue, he believed it
would be better to wait a while and schedule a Council Meeting after the
Police presentation of February 14, 1994.
Councilman Sanfilipo asked why the media had not publicized the positive
efforts that he and Supervisor Barrales, the Sheriff's Department and the
Redwood City Chief of Police were taking in addressing the problems in the
areas of 5th Avenue and Middlefield Road.
7.
