<br />Invocation was lead by Reverend David Held, First Congregational Church.
<br />ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilmen Floyd D. Granger, Sidney D. Herkner, Robert V. Spillers,
<br />Hiram S. Stout, Louis Weiss, Ray Weymouth, Mayor William H. Royer and City Clerk R. S. Dodge. Also present
<br />were City Manager E. A. Rolison, City Engineer Glenn M. Jain, City Attorney Robert J. Costello, Fire Chief .+.w
<br />J. L. Lodi, Building Inspector S. H. Kreiss, Recreation Commissioner Hanley, Assessor -Auditor John J. Brophy,
<br />Police Chief William Faulstich, Water Superintendent H. L. Winter, Planning Director William Rodgers and
<br />Senior Stenographer Clerk Vivian Holmquist.
<br />Councilman Weiss moved that a councilman's right to reserve a spot an the agenda to make appropriate presentations
<br />or comments on official busines of the City shall not hereafter be abrogated by any city official, elected or
<br />appointed, and that the City Clerk shall be instructed to honor such requests if made not later than noon of
<br />the day set for the preparation of the agenda. This motion lost for lack of a second.
<br />Councilman Spillers offered introduction of an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 600, being the Zoning Ordinance of
<br />the City of Redwood City, by changing the provisions of Section 21.6 thereof and by adding Section 21.7 there-
<br />to, to provide for regulations governing appeal from action of the Board of Adjustments on use permit appli-
<br />cations;, and, to provide regulations governing issuance of Zoning and Building permits, seconded by Council-
<br />man Weymouth and carried.
<br />Councilman Weymouth offered introduction of an ordinance, amending Ordinance No. 600 to rezone lots 12, 13, 14
<br />and 15, Block 2, Jefferson Acres, and parcel adjoining Lot 14, from R-1 and R-2 to R -3-G, seconded by Council-
<br />man Granger and ca cried with Councilman Spillers abstaining from voting because he had an interest in the
<br />property.
<br />Councilman Granger offered introduction of an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 600 to rezone portion of Lot 24,
<br />Lee Tract, from R-2 and C -1-H to R-3, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. (see City Clerk's file -
