Councilman Spillers and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />Councilman Stout offered RESOLUTION 21124 REQUESTING REMOVAL OF REAL PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY FROM COUNTY ASSESSMENT ROLLS AND CANCELLATION OF OUTSTANDING TA XES THEREON (Zion reservoir site), <br />seconded by Councilman Granger and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />Councilman Spillers offered RESOLUTION 2425 REQUESTING REMOVAL OF REAL PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY FROM COUNTY ASSESSMENT ROLIS AND CANCELLATION OF OUTSTANDING TAXESTHEREON (Oddstad Homes - reser- <br />voir site), seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />Councilman Weymouth offered RESOLUTION 21126 REQUESTING REMOVAL OF REAL PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY FROM COUNTY ASSESSMENT ROLLS AND CANCELLATION OF OUTSTANDING TAXES THEREON (Industrial Way - <br />�° Tangemann), seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS REQUEST CANCELLATION OF CITY TAXES ON FREEWAY LOTS. Councilman Spillers moved to order <br />cancellation of City taxes on freeway lots as per the request of the Division of Highways dated March <br />211, 1958, seconded by Councilman Stout and carried. <br />CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY COMMISSION REGARDING RELOCATION OF FREEWAYS IN STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM. Councilman Stout <br />moved that the letter be accepted and made a part of the record, seconded by Councilman Spillers and <br />carried. (City Clerk's file 18. PUBLIC WORKS.- CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY C011MISSION) <br />LETTER, GOLDEN JONES APPEALING PLANNING COMMISSION'S DENIAL OF, VARIANCE TO ALLOW 5' REAR YARD AT 251 JACKSON <br />AVENUE. Councilman Herkner moved to set the matter for public hearing on April 28th, seconded by Coun- <br />cilman Spillers and carried. <br />Councilman Granger moved to authorize the City Clerk to accept quitclaim deed from Richfield Oil Company,9 <br />seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. <br />LETTER FROM L. DEPAOLI REGARDING VALOrA MANOR SLBDIVISION DRAINAGE DEPOSIT. Councilman Weiss moved that <br />the Mayor set the matter for study session and the City Manager to see that all the Department Heads <br />involved be present at the meeting, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried.. The Mayor set the <br />study meeting for Wednesday evening, April 16th. <br />Councilman Spillers spoke about the creek in the vicinity of Valota and Redwood Avenue and suggested the <br />possibility of fencing the portion where the sidewalk fronts on the creek. Councilman Weiss referred <br />also to the same situation at Gordon and Redwood Avenue. Councilman Weiss moved that the matter be re- <br />ferred to the City Manager for a full report in two weeks. This motion lost for lack of a second. <br />Councilman Granger moved to refer this matter to the City Engineer for a full report back at the next <br />Council meeting with a recommendation for a safeguard measure, seconded by Councilman Stout. Council- <br />man Granger changed his motion that the City Engineer take whatever steps are necessary, to give temp- <br />orary relief and make a recommendation for permanent protection, seconded by Councilman Stout and car- <br />ried. <br />Councilman Granger moved that the City Manager be delegated to investigate all the bridges for safe- <br />guard purposes and make a recommendation for budget study, seconded by Councilman Weiss and carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED APPROVAL OF FILO CORPOARTION PETITION TO REZONE LOT 5, BLOCK 102 ROBINSON <br />SUBDIVISION, AT 1337 JEFFERSON AVENUE, FROM R-3 to R-11. Councilman Spillers moved to set the matter <br />for public hearing on April 21, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF D. MIRANDETTE'S PETITION FOR EXCEPTION TO THE SUBDIVISION ORDIN- <br />ANCE, LOTS 5, 6 AND PORTION 7, BLOCK 2, W. W. & M. RESUB OF IAT 12 (1130 King Street). Councilman <br />Weymouth moved approval of the Planning Commission's recommendation subject to conditions and referred <br />the matter to the City Attorney for the proper resolution, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RECOMMENDED APPROVAL OF E. M. HANSEN'S PETITION FOR EXCEPTION TO THE SUBDIVISION ORDIN- <br />ANCE, PORTION OF LOT 11, BLOCK E, WOODSIDE ACRES (1606 Kentfield). Councilman Spillers moved approval <br />
