The Menlo Park City Council expressed its sympathy and condolences in the passing of Councilman Louis Weiss and special mention was made of Colonel Weiss' valuable contribtuion as Chairman of the Peninsula Transit Committee. GRANGER FOR BEING NAM® REDWOOD CITY "MAN OF THE YEAR" FOR 1958, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried on roll call, Councilman Granger abstaining. Claims 28142 through 28250, totaling $208,861.71, were ordered paid on motion of Councilman Weymouth, sec- onded by Councilman Rosselli and carried. Councilman Granger moved that the ma tter of the letter from the Peninsula Commuters Club be referred to the staff for a recommendation and stud, seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried. Councilman Herkner moved adoption of RESOLUTION COMMEMORATING THE MEMORY OF LOUIS WEISS, seconded by Coun- cilman Rosselli and carried unanimously on roll call.
