366 <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION OF INTENTION ON INDUSTRIAL PARK ORDINANCE. Councilman Rosselli moved to set the <br />matter for public hearing on December 7th (MINUTE ORDER #59-190), seconded by Councilman Granger and carried. <br />CONUUNICAT IONS : <br />Loyal Order of Moose, Redwood City Lodge ##1112 extended their appreciation to the granting of the use permit, <br />though limited. However, the members felt that they cannot accept the restrictions and withdrew any intent- <br />ions of building a lodge on Jefferson A venue. <br />1 <br />City of Pacificia invited the City to participate in the observance of Pacificas second birthday, Saturday, <br />November loth, and asked that the City enter a float representing our City and extended an invitation to <br />to any local "drill't teams to participate. The City Manager was asked to write a letter saying that the <br />notice was too short and suggested having the Stars of Tomorrow represent the City as a drill team. <br />Dorthea I. Butterfield, President of the Emerald Labe Garden Club, expressed their thands for the use of .and <br />the Community Recreation Center on October 21st. The City Manager was asked to see that a copy of the letter <br />be given to the Recreation Department. <br />Sheet Metal Workers? International Association expressed their appreciation to John Brophy for his speech on <br />the Bradley Burns Act on October 15th. <br />Councilman Granger brought up the subject of microfilming of records. He referred to the recent fire in Mountain <br />View in which the Planning Department lost all their records. He suggested that the Council give consider- <br />ation to seeing that money is placed in the next years budget. The City Clerk was asked to bring the fig- <br />ures up to date and the cost per year to maintain microfilming records. Councilman Granger moved that the <br />City Clerk be requested to bring the question of microfilming and bringing the records up to date be placed <br />on the agenda within 30 days (MINUTE ORDER ##59-191), seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried. <br />Councilman Herkner moved that the City Manager contact the banks and other lending agencies and ask when they <br />notify the people who have loans of the breakdown at the end of the year, that they please indicate, if <br />they do not already do sop a breakdown between City and County taxes (MINUTE ORDER #59-192), seconded by <br />Councilman Granger and carried. <br />Councilman Rosselli moved that the meeting be adjourned to Friday, November 13th, at 4:00 p, m. in the Conference <br />Room, second floor, City Hall to consider proposed Yacht Harbor Plans. Councilman Herkner amended the <br />motion to meet at 1:00 p. m. (MINUTE ORDER #59-193), seconded by Councilman Weymouth. The City Attorney <br />stated that this was not a study meeting and other matters could be discussed and official action taken. <br />The motion carried. Meeting adjourned, 9:54 p. m. <br />R. S. Dodge, C�ty Clerk <br />Minutes of the Adjourned Meeting <br />Redwood City Council .MI <br />November 13, 1959, 1:00 P.M. <br />ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilmen Floyd D. Granger, Sidney D. Herkner, John S. Rosselli, <br />Ray Weymouth, Mayor William H. Royer and Deputy City Clerk Vivian Holmquists, Councilmen Ron W. Fields and <br />Robert V. Spillers were noted absent. Also present were City Manager J. E. Neal, City Attorney Robert J. <br />Costello, City Engineer Glenn M. Jain and Planning Director Dick Wilkinson. .+" <br />Councilman Spillers appeared at 1:07 P. m. <br />PROGRESS REPORT ON MARINE HARBOR. Councilman Herkner made the committee report. The Committee recommended that <br />Council action be taken by resolutions in order to make our stand more forceful. The Committee will attend <br />the meeting Monday in Oakland. <br />The Committee found a few changes they wanted made and submitted their recommendations to George Nolte, <br />Consulting Engineer. Councilman Herkner and the other members of the committee explained that the changes <br />
