CONTINUATION OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ANNEXATION OF SEQUOIA TERRACE. Councilman Spillers, upon request of Mr. Shaw, <br />moved to continue the public hearing to December 21st (MINUTE ORDER #59-213), seconded by Councilman Herkner <br />and carried. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO MODIFY AND AMEND PROCEEDINGS, ASSESSMENT, ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM, AND <br />THE ENGINEERIS REPORTS PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 28825 BAYSHORE INDUSTRIAL PARK NO. 1. The <br />public hearing was declared open and the affidavit of publication was ordered filed. The affidavit of publication was ordered filed. <br />Councilman Granger moved adoption of ORDINANCE N0. 953 APPROPRIATING THE SUM OF $4,000 FROM UNBUDGETED SURPLUS, <br />WATER FUND, FOR CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF WATER DISTRIBUTION MAINS AND APPURTENANCES IN BAYSHORE <br />INDUSTRIAL PARK N0. 1 IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT; AND, APPROPRIATING THE -SUM OF $65000 FROM UNBUDGETED SURPLUS, <br />S3M RENTAL FUND, FOR CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF TRUNK SEATERS AND APPURTENANT SANITARY S37ER FAC- <br />ILITIES IN BAYSHORE INDUSTRIAL PARK N0. 1 IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried <br />unanimously on roll call. The affidavit of <br />publication was ordered filed. <br />Councilman Rosselli moved adoption of ORDINANCE NO. 600.110 AMENDING SECTION 2.1 CF ORDINANCE NO. 600 AND ADDING .-do <br />THERETO SECTIONS 14.11 THROUGH 14.223 INCLUSIVE, PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN INDUSTRIAL PARK DIST- <br />RICT AND REGULATIONS WHICH SHALL BE IN EFFECT RELATING TO THE USES OF LAND AND BUILDINGS, HEIGHT LIMITS OF <br />BUILDINGS, YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES ABOUT BUILDINGS, WITHIN SAID INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT, seconded by <br />Councilman Spillers and carried unanimously on roll call. The affidavit of publication was ordered filed. <br />REPORT ON BID OPENING, WEED ABATEMENT SPRAYING. Only one bid was received for spraying in connection with the <br />Weed Abatement program for a period of three years. The Nu Lawn Chemical Company, John Co Throckmorton, <br />owner, bid as follows: <br />Edging Units (spraying) 50,000 lin, ft. per year $0.0249 per lin. ft. <br />Large Areas (spraying) 100 Sq. Ft* per year $0.199 per 100 sq. ft. <br />Poison & Noxious Weeds 5000 gallons per year $0.139 per gal. <br />Councilman Granger moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2923 AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF THE WORK ,. <br />OF SPRAYING IN CONNECTION WITH THE WEED ABATEMENT PROGRAM IN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, seconded by Council- <br />man Herkner and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />ASSESSOR -AUDITOR REQUESTS PERMISSION TO CORRECT THE 1959-60 TAX ROLL in accordance with Section 4986.2 of the <br />Taxation and Revenue Code. See MINUTE ORDER 159-214# minute order file, for the list of corrections. <br />w@N% <br />Councilman Weymouth moved to approve cancellation of taxes as requested, subject to the approval of the City <br />Attorney (MINUTE ORDER #59-214), seconded by Councilman Fields and carried. <br />PROPOSAL TO PUT 1960-61 TAX ROLL ON TABULATING EQUIPMENT. After considerable discussion, Councilman Herkner moved <br />to continue this matter for one week, the City Manager to obtain additional information (MINUTE OP.DER #59-215), <br />seconded by Councilman Granger and carried. <br />MAYLANDSS 1909 EL CAMINO REAL, REQUESTS PERMISSION TO CONDUCT A "CLOSE OUT SALE." Councilman Granger moved that <br />the permit be granted and the ordinance enforced (MINUTE ORDER ##59216), seconded by Councilman Rosselli and <br />carried. <br />
