Fields, Floyd D. Granger, Sidney D. <br />Herkner, John Rossellii Robert V. Spillers, Ray Weymouth, Mayor William H. Royer and City Clerk R. S. <br />Dodge. Also present were City Manager J. E. Neal, City Attorney Robert J. Costello, City Engineer <br />Glenn M. Jain, Planning Director Dick Wilkinson, Traffic Engineer Arthur Eskelin, Police Chief William <br />Faulstich, Assessor -Auditor John J. Brop)W, Assistant Planning Director Leonard Knittel, Building Insp- <br />ector S. Ho Kreiss, Water Superintendent H. L. There <br />were no communications received nor was there anyone present in the audience to protest the annexation. <br />At the request of the City Attorney, Councilman Spillers moved to continue the public hearing to Jan- <br />uary lith (MINUTE CRDER #59-211), seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried unanimously on roll call. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON THE APPEAL OF DINO PARDINI AND GAETANO FERRIGNO FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSIONIS DENIAL OF <br />A RESUBDIVISION REQUEST on Lot 9, and portion of Lot 8, Block E, Woodside Acres Map No. 1, said prop- <br />erty being located at 1560 Kentfield Avenue. The public hearing was declared open and the affidavits <br />of notice were ordered filed. There were no written communications. Mr. Pardini addressed the Council <br />and stated his reasons why he wanted the resubdivision and also agreed to do anything within his power <br />to comply with the Councils wishes regarding deeding of property and attempting to obtain the nec- <br />essary signatures in order to form an assessment district. Councilman Rosselli moved that the public <br />hearing be closed, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />Councilman Spillers moved to instruct the City Attorney to prepare the necessary papers to grant the <br />resubdivision subject to Mr. Pardini deeding 27' strip for street purposes and the signing of the <br />petition for an assessment district and taking the petition around and attempting to obtain the nec- <br />essary signatures, seconded by Councilman Granger. After considerable discussion, Councilman Granger <br />withdrew his second. Councilman Rosselli then seconded the motion which carried on roll call with <br />Councilmen Fields, Granger, Herkner, Rosselli, Spillers and Mayor Royer voting yes and Councilman <br />Weymouth voting no.
