6k Ido, Councilman Weymouth moved adoption of ORDINANCE N0, 600.98 AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 600, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, TO REZONE LOTS. 11 2, 3 AND 4.9 BLOCK 12 OAKLEIGH PARK TRACT, FROM "U" DISTRICT TO R-3 DISTRICT (northeasterly corner Woodside Road and Nimitz), seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried on roll call, Councilman Spillers being noted absent. The affidavit of publication was - ordered filed. Councilman Rosselli moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2620 ADOPTING BUDGET AND APPROVING SECOND SUPPLEMENTAL 004 MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR EXPENDITURE OF GAS TAX ALLOCATION FOR MAJOR CITY STREETS,, seconded by Council - *04 man Herkner and carried on roll call, Councilman Spillers being noted absent. PETITION FOR IMPROVEMENTS OF EAGLE HILL TERRACE. Councilman Granger moved that the Council establish a policy and waive the necessity of sidewalks in this particular cul—de—sac and the,City Attorney be instructed to draw up an amendment to the ordinance by adding a section on variances and authorize the City Engineer to proceed with the plans and specs in accordance with the petition and eliminate the sidewalks, seconded by Councilman Weiss. This was followed by discussion. Councilman Herkner asked the maker cf the 'motion to please change it and make it in two parts. Councilman Granger withdrew his motion and then moved to authorize the City Attorney to draw up the necessary papers to allow the Council to eliminate sidewalks, seconded by Councilman Weiss and carried. Councilman Granger moved to authorize the City Engineer to prepare the plans and specs in accordance with the petition and eliminate the sidewalks, seconded by Councilman Weiss and carried on roll call, Council— man Herkner voting no and Councilman Spillers being noted absent. Councilman Herkner moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 2621 REQUESTING REMOVAL OF REAL PROPERTY ACQUIRED BY CITY CF REDWOOD CITY FROM COUNTY ASSESSMENT ROLLS AND CANCELLATION OF OUTSTANDING TAXES THEREON (0.85 ac. MOL lying Sly of and adjacent to Lots 7 to 111, Block 10, Farm Hill No. 2 — adjacent to Stulsaft Park), sec— onded by Councilman Weymouth and carried on roll call, Councilman Spillers being noted absent. TAX ROLL CORRECTIONS FOR THE YEAR 1958-59 AS REQUESTED BY THE CITY ASSESSOR. Councilman Weiss moved to order cancellation in accordance with the vequest of the City Assessor and add erroneously assessed parcel to the tax roll, seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried. Councilman Herkner moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO. 2622 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A DEED OF EASEMENT TO THE PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY FOR SUSPENSION, MAINTENANCE AND USE OF WIRES, CABELS AND CROSS ARMS OVER CITY PROPERTY, seconded by Councilman Weiss and carried on roll call, Councilman Spillers being noted absent. VARIANCE FROM REQUIREMENT OF RESOLUTION NO. 2328 TO ALLON EXTENSION OF AMPEX PARKING LOT WITHOUT CONSTRUCTION OF STANDARD COMMERCIAL SIDENALK. Councilman Weiss moved to grant the extension in accordance with the report, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried. AUTHORIZE CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT DEED FOR SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT OVER PORTION OF LOTS 2, 3, 4 AND 5, BLOCK 1, FARM HILL NO. 3. The City Manager asked that this be held up one week. Councilman Rosselli moved to carry this item on the agenda for one week, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. Councilman Weymouth moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO, 2623 APPROVING ASSESSMENT DIAGRAM, DUANE STREET CUINERT, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried on roll call, Councilman Spillers being noted absent. COMMUNICATIONS: Two claims for alleged injuries, Emilia Pacino and Diane Glick.
