M. <br />Invocation was led by Reverand David Held, First Congregational Church. <br />ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilmen Ron W. Fields, Floyd D. Granger, Sidney D. Herkner, <br />John S. Rosselli, Robert V. Spillers, Ray Weymouth, Mayor William H. Royer and City Clerk R. S. Dodge. <br />Also noted present were City Manager J. E. Neal, City Attorney Robert J. Costello, City Engineer Glenn M. <br />Jain, Assistant Planning Director Leonard Knittel, Police Chief William Faulstich, Police Captain Theodore <br />Moudakas, Police Lieutenant Joel Mansfield, Fire Chief J. L. Lodi, Building Inspector S. H. Lodi <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON ANNEXATION OF "ELKS" PROPERTY. The affidavit of publication was ordered filed. There being <br />no protests, written or oral, Councilman Spillers moved that the public hearing be closed, seconded by <br />Councilman Granger and carried. The assessed valuation report was ordered filed. <br />Councilman Herkner moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2671 BEING A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT PROTEST TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TER- <br />RITORY DESIGNATED "ELKS" ANNEXATION HASNOT BEEN MADE BY OWNERSOF ONE-HALF CF THE VALUE OF S9CH TERRITORY <br />AS SHOWN BY THE LAST EQUALIZED ASSESSMENT ROLL, NOR BY PUBLIC AND PRIVATE OWNERS EQUAL TO ONE-HALF OF THE <br />VALUE OF SUCH TERRITORY AS DETERMINED BY SAID COUNCIL, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried unanimously <br />on roll call. <br />Councilman Granger moved introduction of an ordinance of the City of Redwood City approving the annexation <br />to the City of Redwood City of certain uninhabited territory designated "Elks Annexation" and herein des- <br />cribed, and herein annexing said territory to said City of Redwood City, seconded by Councilman Fields and <br />carried. <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON -.:THE PLANNING COMMISSIONIS RECOMMENDATION TO AMEND SECTIONS 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4 OF ORDINANCE <br />NO. 600 TO REZONE LOTS 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 and portion of Lot 17 abutting the rear of said lots, Block 5, <br />Tract No. 509 Redwood Manor No. 2, from R-1 (Single Family) to C -N (Neighborhood Commercial) District --- <br />Florence Street near Marsh Road.
