Councilman Weymouth moved to grant the extension of time as re- <br />quested (,Minute Order #59-19)j, seconded by Councilman Fields and carried. <br />REPORT ON BID OPENING, SALE OF CITY PROPERTY (Lot 8., Block 2, Reese Subdivision)* There was only one bid <br />received and that was from Leo Cafferata in the amount of $1.,610*00* Councilman Spillers moved <br />adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2682 ACCEPTING THE BID OF LEO CAFFERATA FOR PURCHASE OF CITY -OWNED REAL <br />PROPERTY., BEING LOT 8., BLOCK 2s FaESE SUBDIVISION, AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DEED THEREFOR., seconded <br />by,Councilman 'Rosselli and carried unanimously on roll call* <br />PERSONNEL BOARD RECOMMENDS THAT THE POSITION OF ASSISTANT RECREATION DIRECTOR BE CREATED, THAT THE JOB <br />DESCRIPTION BE ADOPTED, AND THAT THE POSITION BE PLACED IN SALARY RANGE NO. 363, $477 to $597, Council- <br />man Spillers moved introduction of an ordinance amending Section 2 of Ordinance No. 821, being the <br />salary plan of the City of Redwood City, and adding thereto Section 2.94 to provide for the position of <br />Assistant Recreation Director and designating said position to be in range 36s seconded by Cvjr-cilman <br />Herkner and carried* <br />Councilman Granger moved to refer the matter of the meter reader being in the right classification to <br />the City Manager for further studys seconded by Councilman Herkner.
