Keith Sorenson stated that the Board of <br />Supervisors had requested him to obtain the attitude of all City Councils in the County on the pos- <br />sibility of a uniform ordinance prohibiting the machines completely throughout the County. Councilman <br />Weymouth moved to acknowledge the letter and take it under advisement and wait for the Board of Super- <br />visors action, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />Belmont County Water District reported that they are taking up the subject of the repaving cf the <br />Water District's trenches through the streets of Redwood City with Doyle Chester and as soon as the <br />matter is considered they will get in touch with the City Manager. <br />Sequoia Yacht Club submitted for consideration a plan, the purpose of which is to provide for the safe <br />operation of small boats in the congested area of the launching ramp and Sequoia Yacht Club's Hoist <br />Dock at the Yacht Harbor. They propose that the ramp and the hoist dock be separated by a floating <br />walkway which will be secured in place by two existing piles. Further, they request that seven old <br />inner berth piles and a section of the walkway be left in place so that a protected area will be pro- <br />vided for readying small sail boats for the day, "head to wind." It is understood that all material <br />and labor would be provided by the Sequoia Yacht Club. Councilman Herkner moved that the City Manager <br />was asked to check into the possibility of having a pier for children to fish from. <br />Claims 28647 through 28827, totaling $370,451.76, were ordered paid on motion of Councilman Herkner, second- <br />ed by Councilman Spillers and carried. <br />Councilman Weymouth moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. Councilman Herkner asked that the minutes of April 2nd be <br />PON corrected to read as follows: (page 1, last paragraph) Councilman Weymouth amended the motion to have <br />on record that they have considered the matter, etc. The Clerk reported that Mr. Lebsack asked that <br />the minutes of April 6th with <br />pr reference to the e Feinberg home being torn dawn be corrected to read as <br />follows: The Feinberg home will be torn down when apartments are built. Councilman Herkner moved <br />approval of the minutes as corrected, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried.. <br />Councilman Spillers moved adoptionof ORDINANCE N0. 600.102 AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 600, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, <br />TO REZONE LOTS 29, 31, 33, 35, 37, 39, 41, 45, 47 and 49 AND PORTIONS OF LOTS 44, 46, 48, 50 and 51 OF <br />THE RESUBDIVISION OF WELLESLEY PARK, FROM R-1 AND R-4 DISTRICT TO R -3-G DISTRICT (vicinity of Wellesley <br />Cresdent and Arlington Road), seconded by Councilman Weymouth. Councilman Granger asked that the re- <br />cord call attention to the minutes of April 6th. The motion carried unanimously on roll call. The <br />affidavit of publication was ordered filed. <br />
