28 <br />Councilman Herkner moved adoption of ORDINANCE NO. 933 AMENDING SECTION 14 OF ORDINANCE NO. 691 RELATING TO <br />CITY POUND, TO ESTABLISH UNIFORM ANNUAL DOG LICENSE FEE IN THE COUNTY OF $3.00., seconded by Councilman <br />Weymouth and carried unanimously on roll call. The affidavit of publication was ordered filed. <br />ACCEPTANCE OF FARM HILL Noe 2. The City Engineer recommended these improvments be accepted by the City <br />Council subject to the following conditions: <br />(1) Payment of all engineering and inspection charges due the City. <br />(2) Guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship which might appear within one year from <br />date of acceptance. <br />Councilman Rosselli moved to accept the improvements subject tothe correction of defects in materials <br />and workmanship appearing within one year and payment by the developer of any amounts awing the City., <br />(MIME ORDER #59-30)', seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. <br />REPORT ON BID OPENING, 2 one -ton trucks for the Water Department and 1 dump truck for the Street Department. <br />1�he following bids were received: <br />WATER DEPARTMENT TRUCKS: <br />(Lump Sum) <br />Towne Motor Company - Ford $3.,290.60 <br />Stanley's Automotive Center - Chevrolet 3028.18 <br />Davies Auto Company - Chevrolet 39826.00 <br />Ferris Miles Equipment Company., Inc. - Dodge 3,881.80 <br />STREET DEPARTMENT TRUCK: <br />Towne Motor Company - Ford 3067.38 <br />Ferris Miles - Dodge 3,568.69 <br />PM Stanleyts Automotive Center - International 3,592.89 <br />�Mw Davies Auto Company - Chevrolet 4sl87.90 <br />It was recommended that the low bids of Tome Motor Company be accepted. <br />Councilman Herkner moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 2696 AWARDING BIDS FOR FURNISHTNG OF NEW TRUCE'S AND <br />REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED., seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried unanimously on roll call* <br />ACCEPTANCE OF FARM HILL N0. 5e The improvements in Farm Hill No. 5 have been completed to the satisfaction <br />of the Engineering Department with the excepticn . of the f olloiwi.ng : <br />(1) Planting of street trees as required by the subdivision ordinance. <br />(2) Installation of a sewage -ejector pump, vault and force main to serve Lot 13., Block 1., which can <br />not be served by gravity to City sewer linese <br />It is the City Engineers recommendation that the impro ants be accepted by the City Council subject <br />to the following conditions being fulfilled before the release of the performance bond.- <br />(a) <br />ond:(a) Subdivider,to deposit with the City the sum of $202.50 to cover the furnishing and planting of <br />60 twenty seven trees, as required by the subdivision ordinance, when houses have been constructed. <br />(b) Subdivider to make a cash deposit or performance bond in the amount of $2.,000.00 to guarantee the <br />furnishing and installation of a satisfactory sewerage -ejector system and force main to serve Lot 13., <br />Block 1., and to relieve the City of future responsibility for providing a sewer lateral. <br />(c) The subdivider to pay all engineering and inspection fees owing the City. <br />(d) The subdivider to guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year <br />from date of acceptance. <br />Heposits totaling $2.,202.50 have been received by the City Clerk. . . <br />After discussion with regard to maintenance of the ejector pump, Councilman Weymouth moved to accept <br />the improvements subject to the correction of defects in materials and workmanship appearing within <br />one year and payment by the developer of any amounts owing the City (MINUTE ORDER #59-31)., seconded by <br />
