Sterling thanked the Council for their recognition of her award and invited them to attend some of their Fun After Fifty Meetings. Rabbi Herbert D. Teitelbaum, Temple Beth Jacob, thanked John Rosselli for taking part in the groundbreaking ceremonies. Lawrence Brian reported that the new supply line of the Belmont -County Water District, constructed through Redwood City, as been completed and is in operation. In accordance with the agreement between the City and the District, the line is now available for emergency use only on the part of Redwood City. The Sisters of Saint Francis of Penance and Christian Charity, Sierra Madre, invited the Council to the ground breaking ceremonies inaugurating the construction of their new provincialate and novitiate house at Jefferson Avenue and Wilmington Way on Sunday afternoon, July 12, 1959, at three otclock.
