CONTINUATION OF HEARING ON GLENWOOD AVENUE IMPROVMENTS. The Council was informed that Jan S. Michalski had signed a waiver which was presented to the Clerk. The problem of the P.G. & E. was discussed as well as a 10% contingency fund. Councilman Spillers moved that the public hearing be closed, seconded by Councilman Granger and carried. GLENWOOD AVENUE -CANYON ROAD AND VICINITY IMPROVEMENTS, Douglass &Woodhouse, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried unanimously on roll call. Police Chief requests approval of designation of a taxi loading zone and resolution authorizing removal of first parking meter on the west side of Middlefield Road north of Broadway. Councilman Spillers asked the Mayor to recognize Mr. Kelly sitting in the audience because he hada sidewalk problem -to discuss. After discussion, Councilman Granger moved that the matter of Mr. Kelly's situation at 646 Hudson Street be ea cried on the agenda for one week and the Sidewalk Committee to make a report, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. ACCEPTANCE OF REDWOOD AVENUE BRIDGE. It was recommended that the project be accepted by the City Council subject to: 1) Elimination of a pond of stagnant water from the creek bed before 5 p. m.
