Redwood Material Company expressed their appreciation to the Street Department on the splendid job they did <br />in erecting the fence on Maple Street opposite their office. <br />Claims 34700 through 34860, totaling $63,838.21, were ordered paid on motion of Councilman Herkner, seconded by <br />Councilman Granger and carried. <br />Counci-.man Granger moved that the meeting be adjourned, seconded by Coyncilman Rosselli and carried. George Vorsheim, Valley United Presbyterian Church. <br />ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilmen Ron W. Fields, Floyd D. Granger, Sidney D. Herkner, <br />John S. Rosselli, William H. Royer, Harold C. Stehle, Mayor Ray A. Weymouth and City Clerk Helen C. Moore. <br />Also noted present were City Manager J. E. Neai, City Attorney Robert J. Costello, Police Chief William <br />Faulstich, City Engineer Glenn M. Jain, Building Inspector S. H. Kreiss, Fire Chief J. L. Lodi, Assistant <br />Planning Director Leonard Knittel, Assessor -Auditor John J. Brophy, Water Superintendent H. L. Winter and <br />Deputy City Clerk Vivian Rifbjerg. <br />Councilman Fields moved approval of the minutes of November 21st as mailed, seconded by Councilman Rosselli and <br />carried. <br />CONTINUATION CF PUBLIC HEARING ON RESOLUTION OF INTENTION BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO, <br />600 TO PROHIBIT DWELLINGS AND RESIDENTIAL USES IN DISTRICTS OTHER THAN "R" DISTRICTS. The public hearing •� <br />was declared open. The Planning staff recommended that this matter be referred back to the Planning Com- <br />mission for their reconsideration. There were no further written communications. The following people <br />addressed the Council and stated their reasons for protesting the proposed amendments Mr. George Crothers, <br />property owner on Rolison Avenue and representative of other property owners between Marsh Road and Annette <br />on Rolison Avenues representative of Cal -Bay Developers and Mr. Lebsack. These people had no objection to <br />referring the matter back to the Planning Commission. Councilman Rosselli moved that the public hearing be <br />closed, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. <br />Councilman Granger moved to accept the recommendation of the Planning Staff and refer the matter back to <br />the Planning Commission (MINUTE ORDER #60-250), seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried, Councilman <br />Rayer suggested that the City Manager make sure that the people opposing this matter be notified of the <br />date of the meeting at which this matter will be taken up, <br />Request of City Auditor to correct 1960-61 tax roll in accordance with Section 4986-2 of the Revenue and Taxation <br />Code as per the following: <br />J. F.1%lla - acquired by State for highway <br />Arb. B lk. 523-0, Lot 5 - Old $1.j0.68; New $114.70: Difference $15.98. <br />Pacific Gas & Electric Company - acquired by City for parking lot Map 135-41/13 par. 1 - <br />Old $300.84 and $125.84 (Parking District Levy); New zeros Difference $30U•84 and $125.84. <br />Councilman Granger moved to cancel the taxes as requested, subject to approval of the City Attorney (MINUTE <br />..ri <br />ORDER 060-251), seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried. <br />APPOINTMENT TO THE PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION. Councilman Rosselli nominated James Slobodian to fill the <br />unexpired term of Ray Lunny to the Park and Recreation Commission, (MINUTE ORDER #60-251-A), seconded by <br />Councilman Herkner and carried. <br />Councilman Rosselli left the meeting at 8:19 p, m. to make a telephone call and returned at 8:21 p. m. <br />
