416 Minutes of the Regular Adjourned Meeting Redwood City Council March 2, 1960s 4:00 P. M. ON ROLL CALL the following were notedpresentx Councilmen Ron We Fields, Floyd Do Zranger, Sidney D. Herkner, John S. Rosselli, Robert V. Spillers, Ray Weymouth, Mayor William H. Royer and City Clerk R. S. Dodge. Also present were City Manager James E. Neal, Assessor -Auditor John J. Brophy, City Engineer Glenn M. Jain and Police Chief William Faulstich. PROPOSED ANNEXATION EDGEWOOD ANNEXATION NO. 1-A. New map of the area was studied which was identical with the map of Edgewood Annexation No. 1-B except that the corridor has been corrected to take care of certain pro- blems. Mayor Royer ordered the following affidavits filed: 1. Affidavit of City Clerk concerning adjourned meeting. 2. San. Mateo Botmdary Commission Resolution No. 524 passed January 7, 1960. 3. Affidavit of contiguity executed by Arthur Eskelin. 4. Affidavit of City Clerk indicating number of registered voters within the district. Mr. Dieter Rall, 323 Summit Drive, and Mrs. June Kazazean of 521 Rocky Way were present seeking certain information regarding the proposed annexation. No protest was filed by these citizens. RESOLUTION N0. 2996 GIVING NOTICE OF, AND DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO, INITIATE ON ITS OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX TO SAID CITY CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESCRIBING SAID TERRITORY AND DESIGNATING IT BY THE NAME OF "EDGENOCD ANNEXATION NO. 1-A;" GIVING ITS REASONS FOR DESIRING SAID ANNEXATION; MAKING CERTAIN FIND- INGS RESPECTING SAID PROCEEDINGS; AND GIVING NOTICE OF THE TIAZE AND PLACE SAID COUNCIL WILL HEAR PROTESTS TO SAID ANNEXATION (establishing time of public hearing for April 18, 1960) was offered by Councilman Rosselli who moved its adoption, seconded by Councilman Weymouth and carried an roll call. Councilman Fields moved adjournment, seconded by Councilman Spillers and carried. Meeting adjourned, 5:45 p.m. R. S. ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present: Councilmen Ron W. Fields, Floyd D. Granger, Sidney D. Herkner, John S. Rosselli, Robert V. 5 pillers, Ray Weymouth, Mayor William H. R oyer and City Clerk R. S. Dodge. Also present were City Manager J. E. Neal, City Attorney Robert J. Costello, City Engineer Glenn M. Jain, Police Chief William Faulstich, Traffic Engineer Arthur U. Eskelin, Assessor Auditor John J. Brol)hy, Assistant Plan- ning Director Leonard Knittel, Building Inspector S. H. Kreiss and Deputy City Clerk Vivian Rifbjerg. Councilman Herkner asked that the minutes of February 25th be corrected with regard to Resolution No. 2993 and and alternate 2. The minutes should read as follows: "Alternate 2, which was a resolution of intention only, was the choice of the majority of the Council."
