Minutes of the Regular Meeting Redwood City Council June 27, 1960, 8:00 P.M. Invocation was led by City Clerk Helen Moore. ON ROLL CALL the following were noted present; Councilmen Ron W. Fields, Floyd D. Granger, r, S Sidney D. Herkner, John S. Rosselli, William H. Royer, Mayor Ray A. Weymouth and City Clerk Helen C. Moore. Also present were City Manager J. E. Neal, City Attorney Robert J. Costello, Planning Director Dick Wilkinson, Police Captain Theodore Moudakas, City Engineer Glenn M. Jain, Assessor -Auditor John J. Brophy, Building Inspector S. H. �•. Kreiss, Fire Chief J. L. Lodi and Deputy City Clerk Vivian Rifbjerg. Councilman Fields moved approval of the minutes of June 20th as mailed, seconded by Council- man Herkner and carried. Continuation of public hearing on LESLIE ANNEXATION 2-B. Councilman Rosselli moved to continue the public hearing to July 11th, seconded by Councilman Fields and carried. Continuation of public hearing on EDGEWOOD ANNEXATION 1-C. Councilman Rosselli moved to continue the public hearing to July 18th, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilman Stehle being noted absent. PUBLIC HEARING IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION JONES COURT. The public hearing was declared open and the affidavits of posting and publication were ordered filed. There being no protests, written or oral, Councilman Royer rpm moved that the public hearing be closed, seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried. Councilman Royer moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3119 BEING THE RESOLUTION OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY, JONES COURT, seconded by Councilman Fields and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilman Stehle being noted absent. Councilman Herkner moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3120 BEING THE RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT CERTAIN PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS, JONES COURT, seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilman Stehle being noted absent. Councilman Rosselli moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3121 BEING THE RESOLUTION OF PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF ENGINEER'S REPORT, JONES COURT, seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilman Stehle being noted absent. Councilman Fields moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3122 APPOINTING TIME AND PLACE OF 00" HEARING PROTESTS IN RELATION TO PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT AND DIRECTING NOTICE, JONES bow COURT (public hearing August lst), seconded by Councilman Rosselli and carried unamimously on roll call, Councilman Stehle being noted absent. Councilman Granger moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3123 DIRECTING CALL FOR BIDS, JONES COURT, seconded by Councilman Fields and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilman Stehle being noted absent. Councilman Herkner moved adoption of RESOLUTION NO. 3124 DIRECTING SALE OF IMPROVEMENT BONDS, JONES COURT, seconded by Councilman Royer and carried unanimously on roll call, Councilman Stehle being noted absent.
