Michalski requests permission to move a frame house, 18' x 461, now located at Lot 6, <br />Stein Park (1517 Union Avenue) to Lot 17, Block 1, Stambaugh Street Addition, next to <br />633 Buckeye Street. <br />The proposed route is as follows: Union Avenue, Woodside Road, Spruce Street, Middle- <br />field Road to Buckeye Street. <br />The staff reported the lot on which the building was to be moved was a substandard lot <br />on which only a single family structure could be constructed without a variance; that it <br />was adjacent to a commercial building with multiples in the area; that the building would <br />not down -grade the neighborhood. <br />The Planning Commission recommended approval subject to the usual conditions with regard <br />to bringing the structure to meet building code requirements. 7 <br />After discussion in which the City Engineer mentioned the possibility that an easement <br />might be required through this property, Councilman Rosselli moved to hold this matter <br />up for one week for further investigation fJuly 18th), seconded by Councilman Herkner <br />and carried. <br />
