Jans S. Michalski requests permission to move a frame house, 18' x 461, now located at Lot 6, Stein Park (1517 Union Avenue) to Lot 17, Block 1, Stambaugh Street Addition, next to 633 Buckeye Street. The proposed route is as follows: Union Avenue, Woodside Road, Spruce Street, Middle- field Road to Buckeye Street. The staff reported the lot on which the building was to be moved was a substandard lot on which only a single family structure could be constructed without a variance; that it was adjacent to a commercial building with multiples in the area; that the building would not down -grade the neighborhood. The Planning Commission recommended approval subject to the usual conditions with regard to bringing the structure to meet building code requirements. 7 After discussion in which the City Engineer mentioned the possibility that an easement might be required through this property, Councilman Rosselli moved to hold this matter up for one week for further investigation fJuly 18th), seconded by Councilman Herkner and carried.
