Chandler <br /> Mar9uer�ce �etpz�9 June 19, 1979 <br /> Bob Norris <br /> � <br /> t <br /> � <br /> Adjourned Meetin� <br /> The Council of the City of Redwood City met on this date at 6:00 p.m. <br /> in the Community Activities Building with Mayor Barrett presiding. <br /> Councilmen present: Biagi , Bury (arrived 6:45 p.m. ) , Leipzig, Norris, <br /> Rhodes and Mayor Barrett <br /> Councilmen absent: Chandler <br /> Also present: City Clerk Hi1debrand and members of the audience. <br /> GROUP INTERVIEW SESSIONS <br /> Mayor Barrett stated that the Agenda for the Adjourned Meeting con- <br /> sists of two group interview sessions. The first session at 6:00 p.m. <br /> is for applicants for appointment to the Planning Commission and the <br /> Park and Recreation Comnission, following which it is expected <br /> appointments will be made to those eomnissions and to the Library <br /> Board whose candidates have already been interviewed. The second <br /> session at 7:00 p.m. is for applicants for appointment to the City � <br /> Council vacancy created by his resignation effective July l, 1979. <br /> Mayor Barrett advised he will not remain for the 7:00 p.m. session. <br /> � <br /> Planning Gommission/Park and Recreation Commission <br /> The following persons participated in the group interview session <br /> for the Planning Commission: Wayne Kingsford-Smith, Marcia E. Poncia, <br /> Cyril H. Smith, Rick Thurber and Victor Wandmayer. Planning Commis- <br /> sioners Surendra Amin and Guy H. Smith who were candidates for re- <br /> appointment were not present. <br /> Mayor Barrett then called for votes for appointments to the three <br /> ' full three-year terms on the Planning Commission, commencing July 1, <br /> 1979. Balloting was as follows: <br /> ' Guy H. Smith 5 <br /> Victor Wandmayer 5 <br /> Marcia E.
