Cyril H. Smith and Wayne Kingsford- <br /> Smith advised they would like to be considered for that-appointment. <br /> Mayor Barrett then called for votes on appointment to the unexpired � <br /> term on the Park and Recreation Cor�nission comnencing ir�nediately. <br /> Cyril H. Smith 3 � <br /> Wayne Kingsford-Smith 2 <br /> Cyril H. Smith having received a majority of votes, Mayor Barrett <br /> declared him appointed to the unexpired term on the Park and <br /> Recreation Commission expiring Apri1 30, 1981. <br /> (MINUTE ORDER N0. 79-128) <br /> Library Board <br /> Mayor Barrett advised the following perons are candidates for appoint- <br /> ment to the Library Board and all have been interviewed previously: <br /> Elaine Collins, Alice M. Kennedy, Frank Piombo and Henry P. Tarratt. <br /> Mayor Barrett then called for votes for appointment to the two full <br /> three-year terms on the Library Board. Balloting was as follows: <br /> Elaine Collins 2 <br /> A1ice Kennedy 2 <br /> Frank Piombo 4 , <br /> �,,, Henry Tarratt 2 <br /> � Judge Frank Piombo having received a majority of the votes, Mayor <br /> Barrett declared him appointed to a three-year term commencing <br /> July 1, 1979 and expiring June 30, 1982. Mayor Barrett then re- <br /> , quested a second ballot and votes were cast as follows: <br /> Elaine Collins 5 <br /> Mrs. Col]ins having received all of the votes cast, Mayor Barrett <br /> declared her appainted to a three-year term co�unencing July 1, 1979 <br /> and expiring June 30, 1982. (MINUTE ORDER N0. 79-129) <br /> (Council recessed from 6:45 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Mayor Barrett left <br /> the did not return. Councilman Bury arrived at 6:45 p.m. ) <br /> , <br /> City Council <br /> Vice Mayor Rhodes advised that all of the candidates for appointment <br /> to the City Council vacancy which will occur because of the resigna- <br /> tion of Mayor Barrett are present: Arthur L. Balsamo, Jr. , John K. <br /> Mooney, Marcia E. Poncia, William J. Stangel and Joy Sylvester.
