(continued) In response to questions, City Attorney <br /> Schricker advised that Bartle Wells is employed <br /> to verify the statements of the bank and Mobil, <br /> and the District Board responsibility bears on <br /> the City and District and statements, relative <br /> to them, noting that unless Council members <br /> have knowledge tb the contrary which they should <br /> �„� reveal, the statements of the bank and Mobil are <br /> acceptable as presented. <br /> �il� Councilman Norris requested that the statement <br /> of Tom Shearer, Orrick, Herrington, Rowley & <br /> Sutcliffe, attorneys, that the prior authoriza- <br /> tion for the bonds granted by a single land- <br /> owner is valid now be included in the record. <br /> Mr. 0'Neil then proceeded to go through the <br /> third draft of the Official Statement page by <br /> page with Council, cortmenting and responding <br /> to questions as he did so. <br /> During lengthy Council considerat9on of the <br /> third draft with Mr. 0'Neil in which comment <br /> also was made by City Manager Fales, City <br /> Attorney Schricker, Public Works Director <br /> Pusich and President Warren of Mobil (Redwood), <br /> the following changes were directed to be made: <br /> 1. Page 15, paragraph 2 - It will be indicated <br /> that the exterior levee project being com- <br /> pleted by hbbil Redwood will be purchased <br /> with bond proceeds and that the price to be <br /> paid is subject to negotiation. <br /> 2. Footnote page for Page 15 - Correct footnote <br /> with regard to $20,000. <br /> 3. Page 21, paragraph 2, last sentence - Delete <br /> the new wording suggested by Mobil and re- <br /> tain "Furtherniore". <br /> � <br /> 4. Page 22, paragraph Z, last sentence - Delete <br /> "understand" and insert "have been informed <br /> � of" with regard to the timing problems re- <br /> lating to water supplied by BCWD. <br /> 5. Page 23, paragraph 1 - Delete modifications <br /> inserted by Mobil in first sentence relating <br /> to supplemental water supply connection. <br /> 6. Page 23, paragraph 1 - Note that a yet to be <br /> negotiated agreement between California <br /> Water Service Company and the City is <br /> involved. <br /> 7.
