Uhlig <br /> Redeemer Lutheran Church <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Ad3ourned Meeting, M/S: Norris/Biagi to approve the subject <br /> March 12, 1979 Minutes as submitted. <br /> Carried unanimously by voic� vote, Councilmen <br /> Bury and Leipzig abstaining <br /> ------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------ <br /> PUBLIC HEARIN6S PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> 1. 1979-1980 Comnunity Development Block Report of City Manager 3/29/79 <br /> Grant Final Application <br /> Mayor Barrett declared open at 7:40 p.m. <br /> City Clerk Hildebrand advised that the Public <br /> Hearing was advertised in the March 24, 1979 <br />; edition of the Redwood City Tribune. <br /> City Manager Fales called attention to the pre- ,,.,,� <br /> vious consideration given to the sub�ect appli- <br /> cation, noting it has been before Council on <br /> two other occasions, one of which was also a � <br /> public hearing. <br /> Susan Jackson, attorney, Legal Aid Society, <br /> repres�g the Housing Coalition of San Mateo <br /> County, 2221 Broadway, inquired as to whether <br /> concerns she said were expressed by the <br /> Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) <br /> relating to provisions regarding protection of <br /> renters had been addressed. <br /> Planning Director Schroeter advised that he was <br /> present at the ABAG A-95 review and that the <br /> response to the concerns mentioned are included <br /> in the application. He stated that the concerns <br /> were with regard to means of attempting to dis- <br /> courage speculation and discrimination in <br /> housing.
