Frank Es osito, 2434 Oregon Avenue, complained that street lights in the King Tract area <br /> o t�e C ty were out for nine consecutive nights before being repaired. <br /> Director of Public Works Pusich advised that the old circuit in the area is being repaired; <br /> that the City now has only one electrician to respond to similar calls for the entire City; <br /> and that response is always as soon as possible. Mr. Pusich advised that three years ago <br /> when consideration was given to placing street light responsibility with PG&E, the esti- <br /> mated annual increase in the City's utility bill would have been $175,000, with no reason <br /> to believe response time would have been any faster. <br /> --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- � <br /> ANNOUNCEMENT <br /> Mayor Barrett announced that April 9, 1979 has been proclaimed "Charter Day" to comnemorate the � <br /> 50th anniversary of the adoption of the City Charter and to honor the members of the Board of <br /> Freeholders and that a brief ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m. on the lawn at City Hall <br /> on that date. <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> M/S: Leipzig/Rhodes to adjourn to Executive Session for the purpose of considering litigation <br /> and to reconvene solely for the purpose of ad�ourning to a joint meeting with the Port Commission <br /> at 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 9, 1979 in the Port Office. <br /> Carried unanimously and Council adjourned to Executive Session at 9:05 p.m. <br /> ADJOURNh�NT <br /> Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, Council ad�ourned at 9:45 p.m. to the Joint <br /> Meeting with the Port Comnission on April 9 (see above). <br /> JACQUELINE C.
