Mr. Smith noted that if Council approval <br /> � is ranted, bus service would begin Monday, August 19, <br /> i97�. <br /> Discussion followed concerning the intention of' the <br /> County to subsidize the bus service until another mode <br /> of transporta.tion is available and the desirability of' <br /> providing transportation to low income areas in order <br /> � to make it possible f or the residents to travel to jobs <br /> or take adva,ntage of education offered in the community. <br /> MOTION: Titles having been read, Councilman Henderson <br /> . introduced the following resolutions and moved, seconded <br /> . by Councilman Rhodes, their adoption: <br /> � <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 7237 ESTABLISHING ROUTES OF TR.AVEL, <br /> +�• HOURS OF OPERATION AND RATES OF CHARGE FOR THE <br /> MUNICIPAL TRANSIT SYSTEM; AND REPEALING RESOLUTION <br /> rro. 7085 <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 7238 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br /> EC ION OF AGREEMENT WITH COUNTY OF SAN MATEO <br /> FOR THE INSTITUTING OF BUS SERVICE TO THE NORTH <br /> FAIR OAKS AREA (197�-75) <br /> The resolutions were adopted unanimously by roll call <br /> � vote . <br /> Neptune Beach Storm Drain <br /> Assistant City Manager Smith referred to his report of <br /> August 8, 1974 and that of the Director of Public Works <br /> of August 5, both regarding the Neptune Beach Storm <br /> Drain.
