Mr, Ma.c Quarrie urged that the City pursue <br /> attempts to obtain Site A. <br /> ; Mr. Fales stated for the record that after the filing <br /> of the request in January, the public notice was pub- <br /> ', lished in July following direct efforts of City staff .� <br /> ' who met with the commander of the District and observed <br /> '� him prepare the notice by hand in their presence . <br /> r �� <br /> � Discussion followed a.nd Mr. Fales replied to questions <br /> concerning details of the City ' s attempts to obtain the <br /> ° Corps permit. <br /> i <br /> Kent Dedrick, Director of Committee for Green Foothills, <br /> ' a vise at most applications to the Corps are approved <br /> rather promptly and stated his intention to defend the <br /> ' Corps and the Fish and Wildlife Depa.rtment with regard <br /> ; to the delay experienced by the City.
