303 <br /> MOTION : Councilman Barrett moved, seconded by Council- <br /> man Leipzig, that Council approve the report on the <br /> Port of Redwood City Development Progra.m as prepared <br /> by Williams-Kuebelbeck and Associates, Inc , in concept <br /> �,tr� and principle and, further, authorize the staff and <br /> the Planning and Park and Recreations Commissions to <br /> work with the Port Commission and staff in formulating <br /> '� ' specific recommended programs which will carry out the <br /> goals a�d objectives contained in the report. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote . <br /> (MINUTE ORDER N0. 7�-223) <br /> Mr. Fales announced that the same presentation made by <br /> Mr. Kuebelbeck on November 6, 197� at the Joint Meeting <br /> will be presented again to all City department heads and <br /> their staffs at 3 :00 p.m. , Wednesday, November 20, 1974 <br /> at the Community Activities Building. He urged members <br /> of the press to attend and invited anyone else interested <br /> to attend also. <br /> Report of Planning Commission - <br /> Citizen Partici ation in�� <br /> nera P an Rev s on Program <br /> Cit Manager Fa,les referred to his report of November 8, <br /> 197� transmitting a report from the Director of Planning <br /> on behalf of the Planning Commission for Council review <br /> and approval of the proposed Citizen Participation Pro- <br /> a^- gram with re�ard to the General Plan Revision Program. <br /> � MOTION : Councilman Norris moved, seconded by Councilman <br /> Leipzig, that Council approve the concept of the pro- <br /> posed Citizen Participation Program for the 1975 General <br /> Plan Revision. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote . <br /> - (MINUTE ORDER N0. 74-22�� <br /> In response to question, Planning Director Schroeter ad- <br /> vised that residents of the unincorporated area which is <br /> considered by LAFCO to be within the sphere of influence <br /> of Redwood City are permitted to participate by law, <br /> since if annexation were to occur, they would be expected <br /> to become residents of the City. <br /> Mr. Schroeter observed that according to the Program <br /> just approved, Council members are to be chairmen of the <br /> task forces of their choice a.nd asked that selection be <br /> made as soon as possible so that review may proceed <br /> promptly. <br /> � Report re Redwood Shores Water Reservoir <br /> � Cit� Manager Fales refer�red to his report of November 8, <br /> 197� regarding the Redwood Shores Reservoir and also to <br /> riis report of November 1 on the same subject containing <br /> his recommendations . <br /> _5_ <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 11/11/7�+ <br />
