<br /> ments and th� traffic signal system. Mr. Pusich stated that if
<br /> Council approves, cons�ructic�n can commence at Marshall and
<br /> Arguel3o a,nd at Spring Street withou.t disruptin�; traffic. CiLy
<br /> sta.ff will be working with the Action Gommittee �aith regard to
<br /> implementation of improvPments r�nd landscapi.ng on �roadway, Mr,
<br /> Pusich stated it is expected that the project vai:tl be comple�ed
<br /> within three years.
<br /> Mr. Pusich also invited the Council and public to visit the sma1.1
<br /> demonstration park where ei�ht fo�t moriules of sample sidewalks
<br /> along with exa,mples of lands�apin� and street furniture wall be
<br /> on display (the demonstration park i.s at Middlefield R�ad and
<br /> Theatre Street) .
<br /> Nita S angler, Ed�ewood Road, stated that she is de3ighted with
<br /> �Fe P�an an made the following suggestions : that Victorian street
<br /> ,� ,, lamps do not relate to Redwood City history and contemporary l.amps
<br /> ' mi�ht be more appropriate; that lamps and furniture be of a type
<br /> �east susceptible to vandalism; that provisi�n be made .for bicycl-
<br /> �°�' ists; and that ideas be solicited from citizens.
