Lathrop responded that <br /> in the event there was no downtown station , they might give this <br /> another look , but if there is a downtown station , this would not be <br /> considered as a station . In response to question by Mayor Keckley , <br /> Mr . Lathrop advised that a report is being produced providing all <br /> the alternatives and which may be 200 to 300 pages long , and will <br /> go out to City staff and members of the project committee possibly <br /> within ten days . This would be a preliminary draft , intended as a <br /> source for discussion and he was certain would be revised before it <br /> became a formal report to the Board , hopefully sometime in March . <br /> Mayor Keckley expressed appreciation for the presentation and noted <br /> the report would be referred to Staff for study . <br /> TOPICS Project - Phase II . <br /> Council had , on November 6 , 1972 , adopted Resolution declaring <br /> intended use of Federal TOPICS Program Funds and requesting approval <br /> by the State . Formal agreement with the County was proposed for <br /> obligation of TOPICS funds for Brewster Avenue -Winslow Street segment <br /> of the project . Report was submitted to Council . <br /> Councilman Williams moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO , 6858 APPROVING AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> AND THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO , FOR THE UTILIZATION OF TOPICS FUNDS <br /> ALLOCATED IN THE COUNTY OF SAN MATEO , seconded by Councilman Henderson <br /> and carried on roll call vote , Councilman Rhodes being noted absent . <br /> Request for Variance to Section 29 . 19 of the Redwood City Code - <br /> Location of Driveways at El Camino Real and Brewster Avenue . <br /> Staff report indicated that in connection with acquisition of a parcel <br /> of land as part of proposed El Camino Real improvement project , a <br /> variance had been requested to allow two future driveways locations <br /> serving property in vicinity of the parcel being acquired to have less <br /> than the required 15 feet distance between the driveways and curb returns . <br /> Report was submitted to Council . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to approve Variance to Section 29 . 19 of the <br /> Redwood City Code as requested , seconded by Councilman Norris and carried . <br /> (MINUTE ORDER #73 -3 ) <br /> Proposal to modify Parking Meter Rates - Middlefield Road Parking Lot . <br /> The proposal would change some 26 parking meters from two-hour to <br /> ten-hour time limits in the Middlefield Parking Lot . <br /> 1/15/73 <br />
