Councilman Williams moved to close the public hearing , seconded by Councilman Leipzig and carried . The City Manager brought to Council ' s attention that after the ten ( 10 ) day period for the receipt of additional comments had elapsed , staff ' s prepara- tion of plans and estimates for the actual development of the project would be completed and that the schedule would be to have this back before Council by July 9th, 1973 . Councilman Norris moved to authorize further review and processing of the pro- ject , and order the City Clerk to receive any additional material with respect to the subject matter for a period of ten ( 10 ) days , and include same in the record of the hearing , seconded by Councilman Rhodes and carried . (MINUTE ORDER NO . 73-77 ) Renewal of expiring yearly contract for specific supplies , 1973-74 Covering the following : Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt RESOLUTION NO . 6924 APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FITTINGS , BRASS , AWWA , FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1 , 1973 THROUGH JUNE 30 , 1974; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR ; RESOLUTION NO . 6925 APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE FURNISHING OF CAST IRON AND DUCTILE IRON PIPE FOR THE PERIOD JULY 1 , 1973 , THROUGH JUNE 30 , 1974 ; AND AUTHORIZING CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR ; RESOLUTION NO , 6926 APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR ASPHALTIC EMULSIONS , CRUSHER RUN ROCK, ROCK SCREENINGS , FINE AGGREGATES , ASPHALTIC CONCRETE, AND PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1973-74 ; AND AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO CALL FOR BIDS THEREFOR , seconded by Councilman Williams and carried on roll call vote . Councilman Henderson being noted absent . Liquid Chlorine - yearly supply . After some discussion it was determined , in view of the current price situation and City ' s absolute need for volume availability of chlorine as used in our sanitation facilities , to recommend that authorization be granted to extend the current contract with Jones Chemical Company for the purchase of liquid chlorine for the 1973-74 fiscal year . 6/11/73 Reg .
