( c ) Adoption of RESOLUTION NO , 6938 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND THE SAN MATEO COUNTY CONVENTION AND VISITORS BUREAU FOR PROMOTIONAL SERVICES ; Councilman Henderson , Cityts representative to the Bureau , reported briefly , noting that the agreement was for the same amount as last year , and indicating that one of the more important ways the Bureau is utilizing the money is in the fact that during the first part of this year there had been more con- ventions and meetings in San Mateo County than in all of 1972 through its efforts . They have published a brochure listing all hotels and motels in the County , recreation sources , etc . One of the members estimated that $500 , 000 had come to the County in one week during the month of May, and that reported attendance was 12 , 000 people .
