Sharon , attorney <br /> representing Mr . King , which requested a one month continuance for <br /> the public hearing , and citing reasons for the request . <br /> City Attorney , in response to comment by Councilman Henderson , <br /> advised that his office had no objection to the continuance , pro- <br /> vided it was understood it is the City ' s intention to enforce the <br /> Ordinance to the letter of the law , It was noted that the Monday <br /> nearest the 30-day continuance requested fell on a holiday , and <br /> Councilman Weymouth , therefore , moved to continue the public hear- <br /> ing , without opening , to February 12 , 1973 , seconded by Councilman <br /> Henderson and carried . <br /> (MINUTE ORDER #73 -8 ) <br /> PUBLIC HEARING, Appeal of C . Terry A . Roach , attorney <br /> representing the appellant , requesting a continuance of the public <br /> hearing since Mr . Olmo was unable to be present at this meeting . <br /> Mr . Terry Roach , attorney for Mr . Olmo <br /> asked that continuance be to the next <br /> regular Council meeting , or any other <br /> meeting convenient to them . <br /> Councilman Henderson moved to continue the public hearing, without <br /> opening , to February 5 , 1973 , seconded by Councilman Norris . <br /> Mr . M . P . Traver , 470 Flynn Avenue , <br /> objected to continuing the public hearing . <br /> Mayor Keckley advised that when an applicant makes request for contin- <br /> uance , the Council normally will try to accommodate under these circum- <br /> stances .
