465 (h ) Adoption of ORDINANCE NO . 1572 ADDING SECTION 4 , 5 TO ORDINANCE NO . 1556 , ESTABLISHING SALARIES FOR CERTAIN DESIGNATED EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, RELATING TO THE POSITION OF ACTING POLICE CHIEF , ( i ) DAMAGE CLAIM of Robert E . Robert E . Robinson , 1253 Virginia Street , Redwood City , for personal injuries allegedly due to fall in City owned and maintained building . ( Council action would deny the claim and refer to insurance carrier . ) (MINUTE ORDER NO . 73 - 100 ) ( j ) ACCOUNTS PAYABLE , Nos . 97459 to 97698 , inclusive , totaling $355 , 646 . 67 . ( Council action would approve accounts for payment by City . ) Councilman Norris moved to approve CONSENT CALENDAR , Items (a ) through ( d ) and ( f) through ( j ) , seconded by Councilman Williams and carried on roll call vote . (e ) Councilman Weymouth moved to adopt ORDINANCE NO . 1573 APPROPRIATING $8 , 500 AND $ 11 , 200 FROM UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE OF FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING FUND TO APPROPRIATION FOR CAPITAL EXPENDITURES , LIBRARY DEPART- MENT FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS ; AND TO APPROPRIATION FOR SUPPLIES AND OTHER SERVICES , OTHER NON -DEPARTMENTAL PROGRAMS , DEPARTMENT OF CITY CONTROLLER FOR OPERATION OF COMMUNITY EDUCATION CENTER, RESPECTIVELY, seconded by Councilman Norris and carried on roll call vote , Council- man Rhodes voting no . COMMUNICATIONS : There were no written communications . Oral Communications : Mayor Keckley invited Mrs . Hannah Lahuta , 50 King Street , Redwood City to speak on the problem regarding her property , which was situated adjacent to Stafford Park . Mrs . Lahuta complained about the City ' s lack of response to her communications , both written and oral , with regard to the trespassing of young park participants on her backyard property . Mayor Keckley pointed out his own personal visit and observance and the fact that the Park Department had planted in the area to help correct the situation , Mrs . Lahuta stated she thought plants were not the solution but that a high cyclone fence should be put up . Mayor Keckley noted that it appeared no matter what the City would do she would not be in agreement , and at this point he would turn this problem over to Staff for further investigation with a request for a report back to Council . At that time Mrs . Lahuta would be notified and she was welcome to attend the Council meeting and listen to the report . (Memo 7/17/73 ) Councilman Weymouth moved to adjourn to an Adjourned Regular Meeting , July 17 , 1973 , 7 : 00 p . m . , Community Activities Building , 1400 Roosevelt , for a joint meeting with the Planning Commission, seconded by Councilman Norris and carried . 7 -16-73 Meeting adjourned at 7 : 53 p . m .
