He pointed out that the Com- <br /> mission did not set out to call for revocation of the Use Permit , and <br /> the first step was to extend consideration for three months to give <br /> Mr . Bywater the opportunity to either apply for a new Use Permit , or <br /> to bring the original property into compliance . Either would have <br /> been accepted . Planning Director then showed a series of photographic <br /> slides depicting present conditions of the property . <br /> Following additional comments , Councilman Norris moved to close the <br /> public hearing , seconded by Councilman Williams and carried . <br /> Councilman Weymouth moved to AFFIRM the action of the Planning Com- <br /> mission and direct revocation of the Use Permit , seconded by Council- <br /> man Rhodes . On the question , City Attorney responded to question by <br /> Council , indicating that the applicant would not be precluded from <br /> making a new application in accordance with uses allowed under the <br /> Ordinance , but that would not be part of the motion . He further <br /> responded that the applicant should commence to remove his equipment <br /> immediately , and suggested that thirty ( 30 ) days should be sufficient <br /> time for compliance .
